3 year old - Not really eating, napping and resting more than usual but otherwise ok! Should I be worried?

My 3 year old boy over the Christmas holidays has been napping in the day (this isn’t daily, but every now and then he will take an afternoon nap), he fully stopped his naps back in August (just before he turned 3 in September) and they seem to have crept back. He is also spending lots of time resting, he will lay on the sofa sometimes with a blanket and just watch TV for a while but not sleep - this is happening most days we are at home and do not have any plans. His appetite is also quite poor at the minute. He tends to pick at breakfast and lunch, and then by dinner he seems to eat better as he must be very hungry by that point, but is worrying he seems to go the whole day without eating until 5pm. I have tried offering different foods and making it fun but he doesn’t seem interested. Still drinking water ok and he loves to drink milk (usually before bed). Other than this he is still playing, laughing, having the occasional tantrum as usual, his personality hasn’t changed at all.

Not sure if this could be a health concern or just normal behaviour for a 3 year old, a growth spurt maybe? I am not too sure if this is something to get checked. What do you think?

thanks in advance x

This sounds like my 3 year old. So tired she naps in the afternoon. Doesn’t happen on nursery days.Barely eats brekkie. see how he is when back in routine and maybe see the GP if he’s not back on form.
