12 month off teat bottles - but not sure if this is the best alternative?

I bought this bottle as everyone on a BLW Facebook group recommended it to transition from bottles

took a few nights of crying but she’s finally happy with it.
However doing research, hard spouted cups are not good for speech development and use of tongue 🤯..

I am not sure what to use then??
I know open cups are best but she makes such a mess still with them. She likes to have milk before bed

We used a soft spouted cup -I think it was by dr browns? Or maybe get one with a straw?

The hard spouted beakers are fine! Well done for getting her off the bottle.

Straw cups like the tumtum ones are great because they're no spill but free flowing so not effortfull to extract the fluid from, if you were looking for an alternative.

Thank you
i have the tum tum and the munchkin straw cups. The tum tum seems to bombard her with water and she’s been using it since 6 months so she pulls away and doesn’t like it much. How does she master it properly? It’s been 6 months. We use it everyday for water.
Munchkin she prefers but it’s probably because it has a valve?? It doesn’t bombard her when drinking, So therefore not great long term?

Yes the munchkin has a valve so they get a smaller amount, if if works for now that's fine! Skills gradually get more refined as they develop.
