Pardon?

TooManyNiblings · 23/11/2025 22:41

I've only seen it on here, no where in real life.

Yeah I've only seen it here too. It's being pushed as the solution to al our worries about giving smartphones to kids. Haven't investigated as my DC older and it's too late for us.

I looked at it - and worked out it’s no different to a locked down iPhone. So got that instead

I wonder if the people saying ????? are paying for the advertising-free version of mumsnet?

I've just been looking at it. Would be keen to hear from anyone using it already. I like that it can automatically monitor and screen content.
im presuming it still requires a regular SIM for service away from WiFi

Not me. I asked for clarification because the post was written so unclearly. And,TBH, because I thought that it was written by someone who was trying to seed discussion about the phone onto MN threads for the purposes of promotion (but doing it really badly, perhaps because whatever network advertisers use to incentivise promotional user content on MN might pull in posters who don't really speak English?).

The reason this interested me is that MN has itself directly put spam/advertising about this phone onto AIBU, which I thought was pretty amazing on their part.
