just curious. Also, what made you choose them? Are you still happy with your choice? Tia

We chose good friends of ours (from pre-kids days!) - 3 couples, 1 with 2 kids exactly same age as ours who live the other end of the country but we see regularly, another set live close by and we see very regularly - their DD is friends with ours, and other couple who although have now returned / emigrated to NZ , were very involved till went and still in phone / email contact.
TBH, none of them are church-goers (our DC go to a church school and we are fairly regular / involved), so not very godly!!!

We chose friends of ours, we see them regularly and they buy christmas and birthday presents for them.

My daughter is to be baptised and I would have liked another couple to be her godparents but I will keep the same ones as I would find it odd for them to have different

ds has 2 of our friends who we see and dh's half brother as we thought it might help their relationship (they didn't know about each other until about 10 years ago)

dd has wife of one of ds godfather (good friends of ours that actually set up the blind date!)
my brother is godfather and another friend is godmother

we see or have contact with all of them but half brother but dh's family is not very good at keeping communcations up!
