I live in Hebden Bridge and I'm looking for ideas for a birthday trip out with my daughter. Manchester, Leeds and Bradford are all easy to get to on the train. I'm thinking lunch and an activity/show or something similar. Or some pampering or vintage shopping. She loves sushi, bread, art, shopping, bubble tea, live music, (jazz, soul, funk), make-up, theatre....thank you ❤️

It’s really what she loves, but my teen would love a train trip, shopping, lunch (also a big sushi fan), bubble tea and more shopping or an activity of some sort (spa, nails, climbing wall, 😂 I know these don’t seem to go together!). I don’t think she’d love a show, though she would enjoy a film. You could see if there is an Everyman or fancier cinema there.

My teens just been to Trafford Centre with a friend for her 15th was the friends bday.
They had a lovely time just mooching around the shops, her mum drove them there and went off with her younger sister and then they met up for lunch, got themselves a Starbucks etc.

There’s a cinema there too I think.

We live in between Leeds and Bradford and as much as I’d like to say go to Bradford, I wouldn’t, the soul has been sucked out of it. Very few shops and independent restaurants in the centre. Alhambra is lovely for shows though and the cafe is very reasonable for a lunch.

Leeds is great, seems to have most of the shops my DD wants to visit, then there’s a cinema in Trinity and the Light. Plenty of places for bubble tea.
