Do any of your children have matching birthmarks to you/dad/siblings?

If so is there any pattern such as you both being first born or something similar?

I have a birth mark on my cheek and my second daughter has one too in the same place. No one else in the family has one so I’ve always just assumed it was a fluke

Moles not birthmarks.

My dgf had a distinctive birth mark on his neck. My ds has it.. And my dd's dd has the same.

HateThese4Leggedbeasts · 23/08/2025 19:29

My second DD and I have similar shape birthmarks in the same place. Dd1 and ds don't. It's not that distinctive though so it could be a coincidence.

KimHwn · 23/08/2025 19:30

Yes, DD and I both have exactly the same on the soles of our feet.

Imperfectpolly · 23/08/2025 19:30

My DS has a birthmark in the same place as me.
I was the second child. He's the first child.

cadburyegg · 23/08/2025 19:31

Yes ds1 has a birthmark at the back of his head like his dad.

chattyness · 23/08/2025 20:14

My 3 older siblings and mum have a birthmark in the same place on their lower back but I don't have it, when I was a wee girl, they told me it was because I was adopted , the cruel twats. 😠 I believed them & got really upset thinking I was in the wrong family, my mum thought it was funny and my dad had to show me my birth certificate to calm me down.😕

My DM has a birthmark, DS and I have identical marks

TheNameIsDickDarlington · 23/08/2025 20:32

My 1st born has the same, quite large, birthmark as my younger sibling.

My 2nd born has one of the same birthmarks as I do (I'm the 1st born) but I believe it's a common birthmark as I've seen others with very similar ones (stork marks?)

Yes, my mum, me and dd all had/have the same. Ds doesn’t though.
We are all similar looking and personality wise too.
