Tongue tie snip, is exercise/wound massage necessary?

Wound massage or not? Confused, we’ve had it snipped with nhs and they gave us no information about massage/exercise as there is no evidence they prevent re attachment and re attachment is rare and they would redo the procedure if needed. I’ve found an nhs document with advice about how to do massages/exercises and I don’t know whether to do them or not?

Our DD had hers cut at 6 weeks old privately and we were given exercises to do. We tried our best but ultimately didn't get that far as she wouldn't let us get into her mouth most of the time. Didn't do any harm/no reattachment. If you have been advised to do them, I would at least give it a go but don't get too stressed either.
