Stickers to decorate toddler bedroom wall?

Has anyone used stickers to decorate their toddlers bedroom walls? I’ve seen these advertised online and wondering they look nice in real life or are they tacky? Any recommendations for good quality ones? If we get some I was thinking or an animal themed design.

Unless stickers have changed since my DCs were small, you'll need an industrial sander to ever remove them from the walls.

I've used wall stickers from Dunelm. They are brilliant and easy to remove, perfect to update the room as they grow up. I got my first set when she was a baby and have just ordered a third now she's 8.

You can get really nice ones and they very quickly change a room, but be aware that they may not be easy to remove and if you have them on top of wallpaper in a particularly sunny room, even if they peel off nice they may leave patches where the rest of the uncovered paper has faded over time.

As mentioned above, Dunelm has some great choices and they are usually easy peel off.

I bought some Mario decals from Amazon , the reviews were great and they were very easy to put on. Check the reviews before you buy, but I’d totally recommend them

You’re looking for decals, after a few moves they start to rep but they’re great.

It really depends what you're looking for, but imo framed pictures look nicer and are easier to remove! Or, maybe even a nice mural wallpaper.

For a bit of colour/design you could also try wallpaper borders around doors and windows etc.

I've used them they're great, I got mine from Amazon and went for an animal/jungle theme. They're stuck on painted walls, not papered and they peel off easily.

Thanks all for the tips. Definitely need to be easy to remove! We will look at Dunelm and the other suggestions. We have painted walls and just looking for any easy way to add some decoration that can be changed as DD grows up and her interests change.

I've bought some nursery stuff from these guys on the past.

They do lots of nursery and general homework wall stickers. Been a while since I needed nursery stickers, however. :)

For some reason this thread popped up, just for reassurance for anyone who has stickers. When I was pregnant we put up a large wall sticker in DS’s room of a tree with animals. Went nearly to the ceiling and quite wide and hasn’t lifted at all. We moved recently and he is now 8, it peeled right off, paint looked fine and as it wasn’t a sunny wall there was no fading!
