Baby growing out of bassinet at 3 months?

My baby was 3 months on 4th June, he is average in size.. born 7lb8oz and last time he was measured he was on around the 25th/30th centile (I think). He’s just moving into 3-6 month clothing (he is wearing 0-3 on photo). We have the mamas and papas ocarro and there just doesn’t seem to be much room left at all. Isn’t it meant to last 6 months?! He sleeps so well in the pram and I really don’t want to and wasn’t planning on moving over to the seat part of the pram yet. Does it look like he needs moving over very soon? Anyone else has the same issue? What age did you move over to the seat part?

Looks fine. Loads of room to move and they need to lie flat for first 6months. How much does he weight? I think these things usually go up to max weight of 9kg?

Looks fine for now.

Mine kept sitting up at 5 months so we had to switch him out

He was last weighed 7th may and was 10lb11oz so don’t think he’ll be at weight limit yet. I’m going to see if I can get him weighed this week.

He will probably let you know if he is unhappy. I found DD outgrew the Moses basket (same size as our pram bassinet) for longer sleeps at around 2 months as she kept hitting her limbs on the sides and waking herself up but she continued to sleep well in the pram bassinet for shorter sleeps. We swapped to the seat at 5 months, mostly because it got really cold and I had a nice warm footmuff for the pram seat.

They grow a bit slower after the first 3 months and there is a bit of room but it doesn't look like it'll last 6 months. I just looked up your pram and it looks like the seat unit lies fully flat (unlike some of the bucket type seats on other travel systems) so it would be fine to use instead.

Dd was a ridiculously long baby and outgrew her carrycot by 10 weeks. We just lay the pushchair flat with plenty of padding.
