I want to ban social media from my 15yr old

I am bored of him coming home and him using new language and then on the flipside being upset from things he's seen or stuck in the middle about things his friends are doing online that he doesn't agree with.

Do I just ban it? Maybe give him an old school Nokia for emergency contacts.

Any advice would be great.

He's going to come home with new language and will hear about what his friends are up to anyway.

If those are your reasons then I'm afraid to tell you it's pretty much an inevitable part of being a teenager so you won't prevent it.
