Anyone else curious about what eye colour your baby might have?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently expecting (yay!) and recently wondered what eye colour our baby might have. I know it's all down to genetics, but I came across a fun little tool that calculates the likely eye colour based on the parents' eye colours.

It’s called the Eye Color Calculator — you just select your and your partner’s eye colours, and it shows the probabilities for your baby. I found it really interesting and surprisingly accurate based on what I know from family history!

Just thought I’d share it in case anyone else is curious (or just enjoys these little interactive tools during the waiting period like I do 😅). Has anyone here tried something similar? Or had a totally unexpected outcome with their baby’s eye colour?

I just had a go for fun.

I have 3 dc’s. It said brown for all.

Two have blue and my eldest depending on the light are blue or green

I did it just for fun too, it said green, however DS has very blue eyes! Mine were also blue until the age of about 3 though and they slowly turned green the older I got, so maybe there is still time!

I can imagine some awkward conversations if the baby’s eyes don’t match the predictions. I’m sure that’s been the basis of some potboiler novels.
