Dropping dream feed and putting baby in own room tips?

My son will be 6 month next week and i feel i am ready to start getting him in his own room.
His current routine is that he goes to bed around 7/7:30pm and sleeps in his next to me. He sometimes wakes crying but is fine to settle back down after a cuddle. Then i give him a dream feed at 10pm. He then sleeps through most nights till 5/6am.
Any tips on transitioning to his own room and whether i should drop the 10pm dream feed when i do this?

If the dream feed is working, I wouldn’t stop it. It sounds like you are very lucky to have a baby sleeping that well. As a caution, sleep does tend to go pear shaped around 6 months. Because of teething and weaning and separation anxiety, so I would do whatever I could to make it so I got enough sleep as possible.

I didn't put baby in his room till about 7/8 months because I just wasn't ready, but when I did omg he loved it! He went from his next to me to a cot and he slept all night for the first time in ages, rolled around, stretching, lying on his tummy. I would say just do everything you do, but in his room. Do naps in there to begin with
