My 15 year old daughter is very insecure about her acne and weight. My poor baby has acne all over her face. She is also a little over 200 pounds. Does anyone have any advice ?

If there is no obvious cause, maybe get her checked for PCOS?

That’s what I was going to say too.

A visit to the GP to see if there's an issue with hormones (weight and acne) and ask for a referral to a dermatologist, or pay for a private referral to speed things along. Don't be fobbed off and it is worth getting treatment now, avoiding the angst of over the counter lotions that don't work and stopping scarring, plus checking if underlying gynae issues re. weight.

We did the PCOS check already, no PCOS.

Per your other thread:

Your 15yo daughter is over 14 stone? Do you think she has an unhealthy lifestyle? Does she think it's unhealthy?

Pay for a private dermatologist to get an accutane prescription, it’s an awful age for self consciousness and acne can be fixed.

200 pounds is the same size as my 6 foot, overweight husband.
What have you already tried? Is she wanting to make changes? It’s not going to happen otherwise.

How did you let it get to this, it’s so upsetting, your poor child, she deserves better
