17 month old waking in the night for milk.

My daughter is still waking at night for milk feeds (more than once a night) and it's getting too exhausting so I need to work out a way to stop.

I am still breastfeeding her, but my supply is so low now when she wakes during the night for milk, I'm having to get up and give her a bottle of warm cows milk instead of shoving my boobs in her mouth. This causing serious sleep deprivation.

I have seen another thread suggesting cold turkey, watering down the milk and having less in the bottle, but this was tailored towards a two year old who can understand more than my 17 month old.

Please help!!! I'm so tired I just woke up from a nap feeling like I'd had a lobotomy and yesterday I fell asleep in the car outside the house for an hour!

Is she eating enough in the day? Does she have milk before bed?

I think we went cold turkey but made sure DS ate well in the day. If he woke up on the night he was offered water and a cuddle.

I think i was told to try supper at this age, so a piece of toast/crumpet/bit of cereal just before bedtime so they don't wake hungry
