Sensory chew necklace recs -bad experience with sensory education

Anyone got any recommendations to buy those sensory chew necklaces please?

I ordered one from Sensory Education several weeks ago and it just hasn't turned up and they're ignoring emails and you can't get through on the phone. Trust pilot reviews were great when I ordered, but now lots of people seem to have had the same experience.

Most of the websites seem to be small businesses so I'm loathe to pick another without a recommendation incase the same thing happens again!

Any suggestions please of places people have ordered from and it's actually turned up! Bonus if the chewy thing is a person as that was the chosen one I'd ordered originally.

I'd rather not buy from Amazon as not sure about the origin/ safety of those ones.

I’ve ordered jelllystone chew necklaces twice from https://www.mysenden.co.uk/shop/jellystone
They only have a couple in stock at the moment (I ordered the princess and the pea design which isn’t currently in stock) and I was impressed with their communication, packaging and responsiveness. They have a robot in stock which might suit?

Thank you, that's great. Only just seen this so check with DC in the morning about which designs might work.

Not bought chew necklaces from them specifically, but Fledglings is fantastic for sensory support things :)

I’ve bought Chew buddy things from Sensory Direct and they have been spot on (not particularly cheap but appreciated they seem to be UK made).

Thank you both!

@MerryBeret did you ever resolve this with sensory education?

MerryBeret · 01/05/2025 20:09

No, I think I'm going to do a chargeback. Their customer service is appalling. I definitely wouldn't order from them.

Oh believe me I’m fully aware of it 🙄 they done the same to me on a £101 order only part turnt up so £60.99 of the order wasn’t received done a chargeback as they ain't keeping my money for a order I didn’t receive. This was in February….. they’ve contacted me YESTERDAY threading to take me to court as they want £101 for my order. X

I’ve been doing a lot of research on sensory education and the information I’ve found out is shocking. Trustpilot has now flagged a warning issue on the company and they was investigated by bbc watchdog under another name! I’m fuming I gave this company time of day. Do the chargeback or you won’t get your money. Keep all the evidence x

Sounds like you've already moved on but Lilith loves Henry are supposed to be good, and a UK based business.

Wow that's awful that they've set up under another name after that. What's worse is I checked trust pilot before I bought and it all looked fine, but after it didn't arrive I looked again and it was just full of bad reviews.
