A 2.5-month-old baby drools excessively, after which he cry very intensely for about an hour. He calm down for a few seconds, then you can hear him swallowing, and he start crying hysterically again. Our pediatrician said it's most likely colic, but I think it might be reflux. (She told us the baby is too young for reflux.)
We feed him with Aptamil AR, and he rarely spit up—just a few drops—but he have a lot of saliva and constantly stick out their tongue. Could this be reflux, or is it really just colic? The crying is uncontrollable, and the baby struggles to catch their breath. :(
