What should my baby wear to swimming?

Hi there,

My baby is 4 months and will be starting Water Babies on Tuesday. I know that they have to wear the happy nappy; it is compulsory. But other than that I'm not sure how to dress her for the pool, would a long sleeve swimsuit be okay? I have brought one of the wetsuits but they don't look that comfortable and I want her to feel like she can move freely around the pool. The water is 31-32 degrees, her baths are 35 degrees as she has eczema...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Smile

Where I take my DS swimming its heated to 33 degrees. All of the babies must wear a disposable swim nappy as the first layer and the happy nappy over it so probably the same for you. None of the babies in my group wear anything else. My DS was getting upset at class and always felt cool to touch when we got out so I got him a light swim suit. It has long legs and sleeves but not wetsuit material, it's very soft and more like swimming togs material, very movable. I got it in a size bigger so it's loose. He's been really happy in class since wearing that so I reckon it helped.
