My son has always had a low pain threshold, he has struggled so badly with teething, getting constant chest infections every time a tooth was emerging, I really feel for him. Each time he would go the doctors and be put on antibiotics, I think in the first 18 months of his life he had been on antibiotics close to 8/9 times.
Anyway, he’s currently got 2 back molars emerging. I’d say they’re half way through the surface of his gum. He is hellish atm, crying all day on and off, face is soaking wet with snot and drool, sticky eyes etc. I feel awful for him. He’s been the doctors and doesn’t seem to have anything wrong except the fact his big teeth are coming. He’s waking all night long crying, I truly feel like he’s really going through it right now.
All he wants to eat is crisps and other snacky type foods, he’s gone completely off food, will eat the occasional pasta dish but nothing else in terms of meals at all.
Has anybody else’s kid struggled badly with their back molars? My eldest had some sleep disturbances but seemed distracted enough in the day.
