Little boy shoving his thumbs in my sons eyes

I took my 11 month old to soft play and was in the baby/under 3 bit.
A toddler who looked about 2, came up to my son, grabbed his face then stuck his thumbs into his eyes, I took my son away from him.
no less than 5 minutes later, he did the same thing, I took his arms away from doing it and said please don’t do that and avoided him.
I didn’t know who the mum was at first but then saw 10 mins or so later who, should I have said something?
She was actually sat right behind me chatting to her friends and could have seen but didn’t intervene.

I wouldn't have said anything. The moment had passed and you dealt with it.

I think you probably should have said something, that sounds like it could seriously injure a small child.

They're both under 3 so in the appropriate area.

You will need to provide close supervision for your child to keep them safe. Pick them up next time rather than touching the other child.

You could try to communicate with their parent, but that might not go well.

what a surprise. I bet her phone was within reach too. Why are some people allowed children?

I hope your son is ok

I’m sorry this happened to your child. Yes, you should have said something. He did it twice…
