If you had perinatal ocd with intrusive thoughts did you have it again with #2?

Just that really. I had horrible intrusive thoughts about harming my son when he was born. If you had a second did the horrible thoughts come back? We are talking about ttc 2, but imagining drowning my baby in the bath so vividly was really shit and scary.

I had this with my first child and kept imagining I would wake up and find I had harmed her, didn’t happen with my second child but I did worry it would . I would discuss this with your GP. It was really scary when it happened

I had intrusive thoughts with my first and worried it was OCD, though I then read how common intrusive thoughts are. VERY common! I now have another child and though I’ve had a few of the same thoughts I’m much better able to just notice them as what they are - the brain’s response to a significant shift, and a protective measure - and they pass. It hasn’t bothered me nearly as much this time around. Good luck!
