Much to my dismay, my DS12 got dreadlocks. He has now caught lice from my DD7. Does anyone know how to treat lice in dreadlocked hair?!?!

I would really appreciate any suggestions🙏🙏

I’m not sure you can.
I mean there must be a way but the usual steps aren’t possible. I suppose just leave the lotion that suffocates them on for a long time and repeat every couple of days rather than combing each day.

I’ll give this a try. It’s a case of whether I can get the dead ones out.

Poor you. Had this several times when mine were younger - one with locks one without. Obvs treat both kids first I nuked with chemicals and anything I could find and I’m afraid he’s going to have to extra patient and let you check and take out every lice and nit (egg) you see from all over the head and on the locks - every evening without fail. As with loose hair you just have to break the cycle. It’s doeable if you and he are patient and keep it up every day without fail. I got extra good at spotting them. Good luck.
