Little one had his mmr and tdap booster on Tuesday. He had slight temp weds morning but last night woke up with a temp of 39.7. Came down quite quickly with calpol and nurofen. But I though they said symptoms would be around 7-10 days later.

can I ask your little ones side effects and hpw
long it lasted.

The 7-10 days is the MMR part, it can be in the days after for the other

Thank you. My partner took him and he couldn’t remember what the nurse said. Except the 7-10 days bit 🙈 so tdap causes symptoms too?

Mine only had symptoms immediately after like within 12 hours, gone within 48 hours.

He’s sounding quite throaty. So not sure it’s linked. It’s just so disappointing. No temp or illness really since feb and 4 days after being messed with. Here we are.

No side effects with MMR

Only 1 (of 3) had side effects with DPT - ran a fever within 12 hours of the jab and was decidedly "off", but it all settled within 24 hours (had 1 day at home as they were so very droopy, fine after that)
