15/16 months, but did some sleep training which obviously not everyone wants to do.

I still often feed to sleep, but my daughter has been able to self-settle since quite young, she just like boob to go to sleep with! She is nearly 2. About 50pc of the time she sleeps through the night.

At night, when she wakes, she'll often go back to sleep if I pretend to be asleep (her cot is in our bedroom), or tell her "mummy's here, but it's still sleepy time". However, if she is feeling hungry or particularly restless she will cry till boob is produced. Her dad gets swatted away unless presenting milk in a cup or bottle.

When I'm away, she happily goes back to sleep in his arms, with a bottle if she was actually hungry/thirsty. At nursery, she self-setlles but sometimes needs a pats on the bum, to encourage her.

I did this. My oldest started to 'sleep through' at 2.5 (just one month before my 2nd was born). From about 18-24m he was probably waking 1/2 times a night. We've never done any sleep training.

Now my 2nd is 13m and waking all the damn time... so I fear we have the same situation for this one.

It's all a phase. 1.5 years ago, I'd have never imagined a day when my eldest slept through, but now he does.... AAAND goes to sleep before 7 without a fight (since he dropped his nap a month ago).

Solidarity!
