My one year old started with a cough around two months ago, she has had it every single day, multiple coughing fits, constant runny nose, worse at night so not sleeping. I have taken her to the doctors 4 times now and they keep listening to her chest and then saying it sounds clear and that it is normal for babies to be sick for this long? Is this normal? I don’t know what to do anymore it’s keeping us up at night, stopping her from eating solid foods. I have just been trying to ride it out but after two months I am getting so fed up.

No I wouldn't say this is normal for her to be that unwell for so long. Have they done anything like blood tests to rule out anaemia?

I'm guessing you've done all of the normal things like taking her into a steamy room, hoovering her mattress, washing her bedding at 60 and freezing her teddies/soft toys?

Does she have a daily vitamin?
