I feel like we have no routine. Naps are always on the go and in the pram on the school run or in the car. He's never napped in the cot during the day because he naps when we're out in the pram, he won't sleep more than 30 mins in the morning and about 30-60 mins in the afternoon.

He's still having 3/4 bottles during the day and 1 feed in the middle of the night. He goes down at 6.30 because I stuggle to keep him up any longer or he goes over tired.

This last week he started getting up at 5am for the morning and refusing to go back to sleep but this moring He's been up since 3.45!!! I've just got him back to sleep after a fight!

Just wondering what other people's routine is so I can take notes and try work it around us.

This is what we do at the moment.

Up between 5-6am
7am- 7oz bottle
7.30- breakfast
9am ( maybe 8.30) nap I'm the pram - 30mins.
10am- snack
11ish- 7oz bottle ( usualy leaves abit)
11/12- lunch
2pm- nap in the car till 3pm
4pm bottle- 7oz ( leave abit)
5pm tea
6pm bath
6.30 bed and 7 oz bottle( takes it all)

Lastnight I pushed his bedtime to 7pm.

Looking at it we do have a routine but it's very flexible it can be a hour or so out.

I don't think he's having enough day time sleep but how do you make them sleep longer?

I have an 11 month old.
This is just an idea, we follow wake windows so her nap timings will change if she wakes early or if her first nap is short for whatever reason.
She naps in her cot usually but we'll do a pram or car nap if out and about.

06:30 - wake
07:00 - 5-7oz bottle
08:00 - breakfast
09:30-10:30 - first nap
10:30 - snack
12:00 - lunch
13:30 - 5-7oz bottle
13:45 - 15:00 - second nap
15:00 - snack
17:00 - dinner
18:45 - 5-7oz bottle
19:00 - asleep

She also has 5oz overnight too, though recently has been sleeping through on occasion.

With nap lengths, DD always used to do short naps no matter where they were and even now if she sleeps in the pram or car, you have to keep moving otherwise she'll wake after 35 minutes. With cot naps, it took me a while of constantly resettling after her first wake to get to a point of longer naps. It's tough! I look forward to not worrying about naps at all :)

It seems like you're doing well with a flexible routine, but for longer naps, consider trying the Giggly Tots Pacifier Holder Bib from Amazon. It can provide comfort and help him settle, whether in the pram or at home. You could slowly transition him to napping in the cot with it, which might improve nap duration. Early wake-ups are tough, but with some small adjustments, things should gradually improve!
