Our toddler has got a mild case of hand, foot and mouth from nursery. I'm very worried about her passing it on to our 6 week old. I've been doing what I can to keep them apart, but it's obviously really hard and the toddler loves touching everything she can get hold of that belongs to the baby. Pram, car seat etc.
I'm washing my hands every time I go near our toddler and keeping the baby in the sling so he's hard for the toddler to touch or cough on.
Anyone else had HFMD with a toddler and a newborn? Anyone managed not to catch it themselves? It sounds like a horror story from other Mumsnet threads about toddlers and preschoolers getting it
