I really want to go on holiday soon. I have a 5 month old- who is quite fussy and cries a lot so I'm really anxious about the plane journey..

I'm thinking to go around when she's 7 months old

Anyone care to share their experience?

Yes but a crying baby for hours is very stressful. So it’s quite important to think of stress for parents and baby. Two fingers to other passengers - of course!

It's fine. Earlier and younger is easier before they are mobile. I would recommend a dose of calpol just before boarding in case of ear pain.

What are they like in the car OP? My daughter always slept well in the car - we took her on a 2 hour flight at just over 12months she slept the whole way both times. I tried to get flights that weren’t too far from nap/bed time! It was so easy.
