We already have - shopping list, postbox game, smelly wellies and llamas in pyjamas. DS enjoys playing with these and looking for another to add to his collection for his 3rd birthday in a few weeks. Any suggestions on easy ones for a just turned 3 year old?

Word bird and Little bus lotto are both good.

Tummy Ache has been a firm favourite with my little ones.

I got one called five little ducks at the charity shop - it's good to get them counting

Animal Families. We played this outside in the sunshine everyday of that first lockdown in 2020.

Scaredy Cat is my all time favourite game and one which is fun for older ones as well if they have to play. I think it says 4 upwards on the box, but it's pretty straightforward. It's especially good to get dc used to losing a game!

DD was obsessed with Little Bug Bingo.

Where Do I Live was also really popular.

NoTicket · 02/09/2024 20:40

Another vote for Tummy Ache here!

If you like Shopping List you will like Crazy Chefs. It's very similar but you are building a meal, and then there is a spinner element added at the end.

We also LOVED Pirate Race Game.

exprecis · 03/09/2024 08:48

It's also worth having a look at HABA games - they have some great stuff for the 3-7 age group

YessicaHaircut · 03/09/2024 08:51

My DS also loved Little Bug Bingo and became really interested in spotting all the different types of bugs when we were out and about! He really liked Dotty Dinosaurs too which was great for supporting his knowledge of shapes and colours.

TheBirdintheCave · 03/09/2024 08:54

My son loves Goose on the Loose 😂 He's 3.5. Snakes and ladders was the first one we got him on his third birthday.

TheBirdintheCave · 03/09/2024 08:54

Oh yeah Dotty Dinosaurs too!

DiscoBeat · 03/09/2024 09:02

My kids loved the pirate race treasure game

holymalones · 03/09/2024 10:26

DS is absolutely obsessed with bugs, so will definitely be getting him that one!
