Is this the moro reflex which has startled him whilst sleeping to cry and should I be worried about hearing?

Hi OP

Are you finding that you're generally very anxious about things? Having a newborn is really hard but I do agree with others that being worried about this seems excessive.

He'll be fine. I used to worry about every little thing with DD and would have wrapped her in cotton wool if I could. Fast forward to DS being born and I'm so much more relaxed. His sister is very loud around him most days but I'm not worried about his hearing at all. It's normal to be worried especially as a FTM but it does get easier to not worry about everything as they get older I find. Congratulations on your new arrival.

I feel like there are a lot of posts like this at the moment. Your baby is fine.

I've honestly been wondering if the amount of these types of posts indicate that it's troll posts. Some of them are really daft. Apologies OP if you're genuine but there's just a lot of this at the moment.

Worst one is when you take them shopping while the staff are loading the shelves while your little one is napping, I remember racing the pram around the shop to get away from the staff throwing heavy boxes on the floor and pushing those big metal cages around!
