Buggy/pushchair for 4yo (Disneyland trip)

Visiting Disneyland Paris. DS will have just turned 4. Being advised on loads of DLP groups to take his buggy even if he doesn’t use one it at home as it made the long days of walking so much easier, plus great for getting back and forward from the hotel (we’re about a 15min walk away) and taking supplies for the day.

DS doesn’t have a buggy anymore. Can anyone recommend one that might work for him at this age? He’s around 75th centile for height and weight. Thinking I could look out for a secondhand one then pass it on to family 🤞🏼

I think it would depend on his weight. We have a Bugaboo Bee which has a bulky fold but is super easy to push and has a weight 22kg weight limit and we have a superlight and easy to carry Joie Tourist but it doesn't push as well (easier than an umbrella fold though) and only has a 15kg weight limit. I would buy second hand as my younger sibling's pushchair was stolen/taken by mistake outside a ride at Disneyland Paris in the 90s 😂

@Glitterbaby17 That looks ideal! Does it recline?

@Catsonskis I’m on that group 😊 Looks fab but I’m too nervous to end up without one 😅

@AegonT I’ll have a look at your suggestions, thanks 😊 Definitely happier buying second hand as it will likely only be used for this trip and then passed on or kept just incase we go a second trip!

I have a babyjogger city mini gt. It still fits my 5 year old (SEN, so needs it). It lies almost flat and has a huge hood, which could be handy with the sun. It pushes really well one handed and has a decent basket underneath.

I I pull try to get a baby jogger too, great for older children and recline well. I use one for my just turned 4 year old Sen child.
I go to Disneyland regularly and wouldn't hire a pushchair there as it's probably more expensive than buying a second hand one and no where near as nice!
The pass on a pushchair fb group is good but most of the pushchairs people offer wouldn't be suitable for an older child.

Yep it does recline. It’s not the most big wheels etc but was fine and goes in the locker and he was very comfy

Thank you all 😊 I think the baby jogger looks like it’d be the best fit for him so will keep an eye out for one on Marketplace etc 😊 thought I’d managed to get one yesterday for £100 but someone just beat me to it 🙄😂
