Anyone else had/got 2nd or 9th percentile babies?

DD is 10 months and she's been between the 2nd and 9th percentile her whole life. I try not to worry but obviously do (especially as she's unwell right now and not really eating!).

Anyone else? Did they get bigger when they got older or stayed small?

Two babies in my NCT group were extreme sizes. 2nd centile and high 90s. The tiny girl is now a 5’3” size 6 very slender and healthy dancer. The massive boy is a 6’5” hefty rugby player. Both gorgeous young people and perfectly healthy.

My DD1 was born on the 5th centile for weight (6lbs 1) and moved to the 9th centile and has stayed there ever since. She is almost 4. She is average height. Me and my family are very slight.

I've worried myself sick over DD1s weight, even took her to a paediatric dietician as she is a fussy eater. All was fine she's just little. She always hit her milestones on time. She is a very happy child.

My DD2 was born on the 8th centile (6lbs 3) and at 4 months is already between 25th and 50th line. Totally different shape to her sister, absolutely wolfs down her bottles and 2lbs heavier than DD1 at the same age.

I would think she will likely stay around that centile as it's where she's tracked for a long period. Try not to worry, although I know it's so hard not to xx
