Joie signature parcel 3 in 1 as good as butterfly and ergo baby?

Hi
Finally got around to looking at the above buggies in real life as need one ASAP. I discovered the Joie signature and it seems really good…what am i missing? Seems to push well, has a good basket and can lie flat. Feel like it’s so good for the money but wanted some opinions before I purchase!
Really liked the look and feel of the Bugaboo Butterfly but it doesn’t lie flat (which i wanted for naps) and obviously it’s a lot more. Friends have the ergo baby and say it’s great but I can’t see how it’s any better than the Joie one, other than being a bit lighter but equally it feels flimsier. And basket on it is a lot smaller than the other two.
Any views welcome as I need to get my act together and buy one!!
Thank you!

I have been down a rabbit hole of travel prams for weeks. It’s driving me insane! I also need it to lie flat for naps, a decent basket and isn’t flimsy. Also taking it in the cabin would be great as I travel on my own with my toddler a lot so putting her in a pram straight away off the plane would be such a help.
I was looking at aer+, silver cross jet3 and ergo baby metro+.
I ordered the jet3 and just didn’t like it. Looked uncomfortable. Small basket. Sent it back.
I’ve just ordered the joie signature parcel as it came up on Facebook and seemed to tick all the boxes and it seems much better. (Plus cheaper) the seat is deeper too with the foot rest.
I just want to make sure it can be taken on board and then maybe I can stop buying prams!

Hello, I got the parcel and I LOVE it! Pros for me are the ability to lie flat or sit up and change this whilst the baby is in it. The basket is a decent size which was important as I’m always carting around a load of stuff. The hood is decent. I can fold it up and down with one hand. The steering is really good. We just went abroad and I took it on the plane both ways. We use it for our 7 month baby but also carried the baby a few times and my 4 year old went in it. I’m now using it instead of my Bugaboo Fox. I managed to look around online and got it for £180, which I think is a bargain considering everything. I’m recommending it to everyone, lol!

Hiya. Lol thanks for the recommendation and review. Based on your feedback, I think I'll definitely be buying this one..I was torn between the Joie parcel, ergo baby metro and baby jogger 2. But leaning towards the parcel because it is a bit bigger and seemed more sturdy. Good to know you were also able to take it on the plane, assuming in holding. Thanks again!

Hi
Can I ask did you manage to take the joie parcel on as hand luggage? And if so, which airline did you fly with? Thanks

justwantobeamum · 14/05/2024 22:06

I’ve got the joie signature parcel and I love it! I also considered the bugaboo butterfly (a bit too expensive) and the silvercross jet but I found it a bit flimsy. The joie is sturdy, easy 1 hand fold, sits upright and lies flat, good hood and good basket. It’s been on 2 holidays with us and was our everyday pram from around 15 months old (when we got it). Only slightly annoying is I don’t think it’s cabin approved but I’ve not tried, I’ve just checked it in.

Hidingplace · 15/05/2024 08:19

Hi, it said it was cabin approved so I told them it was and took it on!! The only thing is you have to detach the handle so it doesn’t poke out but otherwise it’s really small. We flew with BA but not sure it matters? It fits into those hand luggage baskets. Maybe different airlines have different sizes. Still a great buggy! Tbh We’re going away again soon and I’m wondering whether to take it on plane as daughter was a pain when we arrived home and didn’t want to go in it so it ended up carrying our bags, haha! X

Hey mum I'm also thinking of buying the Joie signature, can you carry it on board the plane?
