Hi, I'm new to Mumsnet and really hoping that someone can offer some advice / recommendations.
In a nutshell we have 2 boys, a 4 year old and and one who will be 2 in a couple of months. The 4 year old has become increasingly jealous of his brother and doesn't in general respond well to me (his dad), although also towards his Mum at times. This can manifest itself in extreme tantrums, violent behaviour & disobedience. This creates for a stressful environment for all, but especially his younger brother, who has also recently started to mimic some of his behaviour.
I get that I'm undoubtedly part of the problem and would also benefit from some training / hints and tips from a professional on how to deal and interact with him to help create a more harmonious home environment.
Could anyone please recommend anyone who could help?
