Hello!
My baby will be 6 months in 10 days, she used to have bright blue eyes but I’ve noticed they’ve changed to a darker blue. And now I’m convinced I can see some brown starting to appear?
Also I have noticed her eye from the side look brown in natural light? Is it possible they could change colour?
attached pictures, not great quality as she doesn’t stay still 😂 also I have pale blue eyes and DP has brown eyes.
Thanks!

Both my girls were born with brown eyes. And still have brown eyes.

As was everyone else in my family.

Didn't even realise eyes changing colour was a thing until I came on this forum.

My baby had blue eyes when he was small.
By six months he had hazel coloured eyes.

Yes, a baby’s eye color can continue to change after 6 months, though the most noticeable changes usually happen in the first year. This is because melanin—the pigment that gives eyes their color—keeps developing over time. Some babies born with blue or gray eyes may develop green, hazel, or even brown eyes as melanin increases.

DD had similar colour eyes and they changed to dark brown by the time she was 2. DS was born with dark brown eyes and they’ve stayed dark brown.

Yep. Mine were bright blue, turned a greyish tone and now almost 30 they’ve gone green with brown dots in them.

My friends son had blue eyes until around his 1st birthday, then they changed to brown by 18 months.

One of my children had blue eyes which stayed blue but they’re a bit darker blue than they. My other child was born with very dark brown eyes and they’ve stayed the same.

Yes my DS had dark blue eyes which turned green and then hazel!

Remember that eye colour is caused by melanin. The amount can change throughout life just how blonde kids turn dark or olive babies get darker
