Parents what Cbeebies programmes can you live without?

I've got 3 kids under 5 so CBeebies is a given in our household but certain programs can certainly live without if they suddenly got pulled.

If your kid watches CBeebies what programme can you as the adult not tolerate.

This is not a thread to bash the channel just certain programmes really do take the biscuit.

Yeah Dr ranj or whatever is a bit annoying and so are the puppets he treats. It could of been a good concept for children but like most things on CBeebies they ruin it.

I can’t cope with Peppa Pig in any way shape or form. She’s banned in our house.

I also think Bing is a detestable little shot and I don’t know what manner of being Flop is but he needs to grow a pair and do some parenting.

This thread is making me sad. Peppa isn't CBeebies but I'd rather anything on CBeebies over this (which is my three year olds current favourite).

The worst though is Peter Rabbit - can't stand it.

Love Maddie though and can't believe some hate her - my now six year old used to be obsessed and really kick started his love of science.

Lol this is making me smile only because mine have pretty much grown out of Cbeebies.

The ones I dreaded the most were probably Raa Raa (too noisy and irritating in the morning), Clangers (boring for everyone concerned), Twirly Woos (the TWs themselves were brilliant but the human interludes were diabolical), and Timmy Time (just make it stop)

On the other hand, we enjoyed lots of Bing, Waffle, Night Garden, Peter Rabbit, and many other

Yakka Dee for me. We only really watch TV on demand so usually end up watching a few episodes of whatever in a row, and my heart sinks when DD chooses Yakka Dee. It's so boring and samey. I guess it's meant for children with speech and language needs, though I'm not sure just repeating the word over and over and shouting at the child to say it is a Speech and Language Therapist approved technique...

As per a pp I'm surprised at the Maddie hate. We're big fans of Maddie here and DD has learnt so much from her! DD must be one of the only two year olds who builds solar panels on her Duplo houses, and that's thanks to Maddie 😂

Is Yakka Dee still on? I hated it. I gave Topsy and Tim a by-ball because I like the adults in it.

DD loves Moon and Me, it is pretty dull but I do like Mr Onions 😄

Another one I can't stand is old jack and his boat, his stories bore the kids and me and hubby too - I'm sure the actor is a nice man but he is boring af lol salty salty!!

Bitz and Bob can get in the bin. I want to give a Paddington-style hard stare to the person who came up with “SteamPINK adventurer” in the intro song 🤮

I hadn't heard of that one, for a minute I hoped that they'd rebooted Bits and Bobs, I loved that when I was younger.

Dsd likes in the night garden, she has severe sen (adult) and also Thomas the tank engine, have dvds. Mine liked come outside, with an aeroplane and a dog, also a cooking one

Can't STAND Peter Rabbit - especially the mum's super sugary sweet voice. Awful.

Bing is tolerable except ending with "[vague universal thing]: it's a Bing thing." Swings are NOT a Bing thing. Could get on board with "Whingeing-about-a-swing-and-then-recovering-fairly-quickly-after-a-pep-talk-from-your-weirdly-sized-knitted-guardian: it's a Bing thing."

Love Moon & Me and Clangers, and DD surprised us by picking up some Makaton from Mr Tumble.

Of course Cocomelon and LBB are the worst! They're also not on Cbeebies thank god because I don't want to spend my mornings dodging DD3 from knowing they exist. I'm already pissed off that she knows Peppa is a thing because the books and merchandise are at every playgroup. I've had to tell her that our TV doesn't get that show!

Bitz and bob- it annoys the heck out of me!
that “our family” you’ve got same sex parents, mom and dad parents but no lone parents- wouldn’t want to show kids that’s normal too?

JoJo and Gran gran- I used to like it but now it pisses me off- JoJo hardly sees her ungrateful parents and Gran Gran must be getting on a bit( Maybe MN has jaded me)

Baby club, the intro has never left my head and I don't get why they don't start the episode with what to go and grab so you can join in- whats in the bag? Don't have a fucking clue mate..

Inflatable pirates, stupid premise as they clearly made a show about pirates and someone said it wasn't unique enough

Bing, why are the endings super vague (paint it's a bing thing) or super precise (stealing a lollipop then somewhere being upset and everyone panders to you you little thief, it's a bing thing)

Jojo and gran gran is on alot as my daughter is part st Lucian so that's lovely but gran gran is very annoying

My DS doesn't watch it any more but I hated Bing (he was a little shit and I still don't know why Pando used to take his pants off).
Also the Twirlywoos as the over-acting by the humans used to make me cringe.

I liked Peter Rabbit and Bluey - would watch them myself 🤣
