P1ease excuse the number 1s, 1aptop hasn't recovered from a coffee sp111.

DD's 26mths. 1 started try1ng to potty tra1n yesterday afternoon as she's been ask1ng for pants 1nstead of napp1es after see1ng them 1n her "b1g g1r1s use the potty" book. When she has noth1ng on the bottom she goes to her potty every t1me and 1t works 11ke a dream - cou1dn't be1eve how eas11y she took to 1t. She wees, w1pes then goes and washes her hands.
Put pants on her and she does exact1y the same! Just wees through the pants 1nto her potty. 1f 1 try to get her to pu11 them down she screeches and f1ghts me. 1've tr1ed show1ng her what to do, he1p1ng her, tak1ng to 1oo w1th me etc but doesn't seem to be s1nk1ng 1n. Any t1ps?

Can you put her in jogging bottoms for a couple of days with no pants? Then you won't have the issue?

i did 3 days with no pants and just dress on. Then i slowly introduced jog bottoms with no pants and we are now 5 weeks into training my dd who is also 26 months and she now pulls down and up pantsd, torusers and holds up dress etc.

make sure her pants are a bit bigger too so they come up and down easily - I bought bigger sized pants for mine when she was learning
