School Allocation

So, I reapplied to for school applications last minute as we are having to move.

They have allocated a place 28 miles from our home and 24 miles from our new home. There are plenty of undersubscribed schools in the large town.

Not even a week to term starting what do I do? I can't get her there, I don't drive!

As I said before, the key here is whether there are places in reception. Places in other year groups won’t help you.

You haven’t answered my question about whether you have actually moved to the new address and provided evidence of it.

Look online for information about the Fair Access Protocol. If the LEA can’t find you a place in any closer school, ask them to use the FAP to place your child in a school that’s otherwise full.
