have you forgotten what your lo looked like in firsat few months of life?

been meaning to ask this for a while -

a weird thing - I simply cant remember the first few months ...his newborn looks and mannerisms

anyone else have this or am i totally weird??

just remember him as he is now!

yes I have this with both DD (now 6) and DS (now 4)
can't remember what they looked like or what they did at any past stages at all
it makes me feel sad
I can only remember what I have seen in photographs

maybe when I am very old I will remember.

when i see pictures i cant beleive i was actuall there taking that picture

I am the same, DD is only 18 months but I can't picture her as a newborn and even when I look at pictures I don't think it looks like her as I know her now, although DP says you can easily tell it is her.

My dd is only 6 months old and I already cannot remember what she was like as a newborn. I too have been looking through pictures of her in the early days and I don't recognise her as being the same baby. She was just over 5lb and so skinny. I do remember thinking how beautiful she was at the time, now I just think she looked so fragile and well, ill looking. Now she has filled out she is a bonny thing.

Yes I can remember. DS liked exactly like Gollum. I went back and looked at the photos a few days ago and thought 'my God, he really did! No wonder it took me several months to bond....'
