4 month old waking with wind in the night - no matter how much I wind her!

As the title says - my 4 m/o daughter will have a feed approx 1 hour before her bedtime, I always make sure to wind her very thoroughly. She then sleeps through til about 2/3am when she will start tossing and turning with wind. It usually wakes me up, I'll do bicycle legs and tummy massage and try not to wake her but she usually wakes up, clearly uncomfortable.

The only way I can settle her is to give her a small bottle, wind her again, and then she will go back to sleep. I think if she wasn't so windy, she wouldn't wake through the night as she sleeps really well otherwise.

Does anyone have any ideas why she might be so windy or if there's anything I can do to help her, other than the bicycle legs/tummy massage? She is on anti reflux milk, and takes Infacol before every feed.

Mine had the worst wind. Screaming every night 12-5.

Try Dentinox. I think that one worked better for us.

Oh no. It was Colief drops that helped us.

Have you tried gripe water?

Does she have a mild dairy allergy?

If she settles with a feed is she not just hungry? Maybe she is just passing wind as she's moving around a bit?

Waking once at 4 months old is amazing!

Mine was a windy devil. Infacol before a feed, it makes bubbles of gas in stomach smaller so they can release wind easier. Infacol was my godsend 😊
