Understanding DLA alongside UC

I have a few questions and wonder if anyone could help. I’ve been trying to find the answer on Google but there’s so many different answers, I’m getting so confused😂

1. when you receive DLA for your child, will that come with your UC amount? So say I get £1000 a month from UC and get £400 from DLA (random figures), when I get paid my UC it’ll be £1400. Or will I get UC on my usual date and the DLA amount will be sent to my bank account separately?

2. I saw this written on Gov page, ‘You’ll also get an extra amount if any of your children are disabled. You’re eligible for this extra amount no matter how many children you have.
   You’ll get:

• £146.31 if your child is disabled
• £456.89 if your child is severely disabled‘

So does that mean you get this

You’d get extra money for the disabled child element for both kids if they both get MDC or HRC and just one payment for carer’s element also.
Are you receiving Carer’s element from UC as you are entitled to it and it’s completely different from Carer’s Allowance. All can be backdated if you request it, it’ll be backdated from the first date DLA said you award commenced not the actual day you received the letter

That is if you work. If you don't work or barely do any hours you will also get carers allowance which is separate but I can't remember the earning threshold or amount.

Hi, I have migrated over to uc this week (23rd April) but I have also been accepted to dla for my daughter on the 23rd too after 16 weeks! so do I need to let just uc know this or di I tell tax credits this too as I was claiming tax credits until 23rd? Also will uc back pay from 6th nov last year until now? I’m so confused so apologies.
