Itchy bum- HELP

My DD7 has had an 'itchy bum' at night on and off for several years now. We have tried working her multiple times, sudocreme, eurax, had swabs done, canestan, Vaseline, aveeno, even piriton before bed. Nothing works for long. It really really upsets her and honestly I'm at the end of my tether with it. We've tried talking to her to see if she's worried about anything because she's so tearful with it but she says there's not. Has anyone else had this? I'm a teacher so know this is a common anxiety problem but just don't know what to do anymore. It's nearly 10pm and she's still up crying her eyes out.

The skin there is so delicate so if she’s scratching it, it’ll be breaking it apart again causing tiny fissures which are unbelievably itchy. Could you ask the dr for a numbing cream to stop the itching? And maybe a steroid to help it heal?

I wondered this, thank you. I will ask if this round of worming doesn't work. It's definitely a vicious cycle and I'm just so worried about her mental health, she really isn't herself.
