Things only a breastfeeding mom will understand !!

No judgements or guilt trips, just funny things you've noticed/come across, bit of a laugh!

Mine is -
-When your son burps and vomits all over your bust 😂
-Unable to cuddle baby close without them latching onto your mouth, nose, chin, arm, jumper, zip etc haha
-When you have to get your nips out and it's chilly 🥶
-The overwhelming and insatiable hunger you feel ! I can't cope with this, it's worse than pregnancy haha

When the babies hold hands (twins, tandem fed in rugby holds).

Or when they try to latch onto each others' heads 😂

My third if I used to wait too long to feed would get really impatient. After they latched on would make a noise like an old man grumbling under their breath. I also imagined him saying "what the bloody hell took you so long woman..."😁

The hunger specifically for milky things…. And therefore the repressed anger when DH announces that he’s finished your chocolate.

I’m feeding newborn DD2, having fed DD1 for nearly three years. I was slightly dreading restarting, but now I have I love it again.

When DD first latches on she sometimes rolls her eyes to the back of her head in what I can only think is pure contentment and it just fills me with joy that mummy can provide that for her 🥰
