Nature Babycare - does anyone's baby get little gel crystals on their skin? Is it dangerous?

A few times when changing ds's Nature Babycare nappy I have noticed a few little gel crystals, particularly at the top of his legs. It hasn't happened when I used Pampers (but until I get sorted with washables, I would rather use the eco version of disposables).

Has anyone experienced this?
Is it something to be worried about?

I have had this occasionally when they have got very wet. Didn't seem to cause dss any irritation but does bring home that they are still full of nasty chemicals. Only happened when I left them really too long in the same nappy.

There's a note on the packet, to say that this might happen and that it's nothing to worry about.

DD's nighttime Pamper exploded from the front last week and when she got up the gel was everywhere (down the legs of the sleepsuit and all around her bottom etc.). I was horrified but it doesn't seem to have caused any problems. Despite this, unfortunately I'm still not brave enough to risk washables at night.
