Leaking nappies!

Hi all, my 11 month old has just woken up for what must be the 10th night on the trot soaking wet from nappy leakage. He's just over 9kg, have used pampers 4, 4+ and pull ups but everything leaks. He still wakes up around 3 times a night and only way back to sleep is feed on boob.
My washing machine is hating me!
He's moving around in his cot a lot more now and does have a habit of lying on his side when sleeping which doesn't help.
Any advice?

Have you tried a reusable waterproof wrap over the top?
You can pick them up quite cheaply second hand either on Facebook or nappy groups etc.

I'm not sure if this is sarcasm. The nappy is on correctly, thanks. He's also not a newborn.
