who is rapidly heading towards 7 1/2yrs old and still wetting the bed 2/3 times a night, every night.

Went to the Dr.s with him about something completely unrelated (which turned out to be nothing). But thought seen as though I was there I may as well mention it. (Last time I went when he'd just turned 7 the Dr I saw simply said "oh you haven't tried a bed wetting alarm, get one of those and try it, if it doesn't work come back"...but we couldn't afford to buy one so I just left it).

Anyhow, without any fuss or ado she (and he - saw 2 today as she was the new registrar and had one of the other Drs in with her) said that she'd refer us.

FINALLY there may be light at the end of the tunnel. Of course it could be that he's still wetting when he's 9 - but at least once we've been to the clinic and got all the help we can we'll know that we've done everything we can to help him

dd 8 and still wets bed. We got referred to hosp. They don't do anything about it as its normal!! dd wee's v frequently during day, anything she drinks goes straight through her. Because of this hosp put her on tablets - oxybutnin. it relaxes bladder muscles (which i thought would make it worse) and results have been fantastic! We've had 2 wet beds in 6 months!!
