Dont worry im not going to

He's on hungry baby milk and i think is having a growth spurt, he seems hungry more often than normal, she said give him some baby rice as i was on it aparently when i was his age

I dont think she realises that advice changes from ine week to another now never mind from 27 years ago!!

My Gran told me to give DS1 that when he was about the same age, because he wasn't sleeping all night!

This woman also advised juice at about 3mths, and bought him easter eggs when he was 6mths old. Bless.

Baby rice in my bottle when I was 3.5 weeks old. My mother did feel guilty about it, after all, the official advice then was to wait until 4 weeks.

It wasn't advised 21years ago when I had my first. 3-4 months for weaning and NEVER add anything to a bottle feed. Your mum must have got this advice it off her mum.

My step gran said she gave her grandchild baby food when she was 10 days old !!
But they are REALLY wierd, and clueless.

My parents did exactly the same, made the babies bottles up with rice to almost a porridge consistency, I trusted them and they slept ...well...like babies! Fantastic, but a midwife or health visitor would be mortified I know!
