6'11
7'11
6'11
6'6

catsnthat · 02/01/2023 18:06

Mine didn't. 9lb followed by 7lb 13.

Sleepyquest · 02/01/2023 18:07

No my second weighed slightly less and was born 10 days later than her sister

Not for me. DC1 8lb 9 on due date and DC2 was 7lb 2 at 39 weeks

asphalttaz · 02/01/2023 18:15

First - 9lb 10oz
Second - 8lb 5oz

Barbequebeans64 · 02/01/2023 18:24

Oh lordy I hope not. my first was 10lb1 and I'm 32 weeks pregnant with my second.

mumto4boys16 · 02/01/2023 18:25

Mine did and then didn't 😂

DC1- 8lb 8oz
DC2- 9lb
DC3- 7lb 2oz
DC4- 7lb 7oz

I think it's more the shape of the baby compared to the size. My 9lb baby was easier than the first and 4th

LouS84 · 02/01/2023 18:26

My first was 8lb13, my second was 8lb7, so it didn’t work out that way for mine.

lavenderfine · 02/01/2023 18:32

Mine would've if DD went full term!
DS 40 weeks was 8lbs 11oz
DD 37 weeks 8lbs 2oz

ChickenRat · 02/01/2023 18:35

My first was 8lb 12oz and 4 days late

My second was 9lb 13oz and a week early

DemBonesDemBones · 02/01/2023 18:36

8.5
8.7
8.9
8.14

WorldLeaderPretend · 02/01/2023 18:40

7:2 at 42 weeks
8:12 at 41 weeks
9:2 at 40 weeks
7:5 at 37 weeks.

I guess DC4 would have been at 9lb odd if I had gone to 40 weeks.

mathanxiety · 02/01/2023 18:57

First baby was 100% average weight at term. Textbook average.
Second was a moose, a full two lbs heavier.
Subsequent three were all somewhere in between.
No thyme or reason to any of it...

SeasonsBleatings · 02/01/2023 18:58

Mine were both six days over and almost exactly the same weight.

kimchifix · 02/01/2023 18:59

Mine did. A consultant told me this because until about baby no:4 you get better at growing a placenta. Then it tails off. I've got absolutely no idea if that is a load of old codshit or what. Maybe he was trying to make me feel better about 10lbs plus DC3. They went 9lbs4oz 9lbs13oz and 10lbs something which I've blocked from my mind.

Eileen101 · 02/01/2023 19:01

Mine didn't. 8lbs 8 (40+4), then 7lbs 5 (39+6)

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 02/01/2023 19:02

DD1 - 40+5 - 8lb 6oz
DD2 - 40+2 - 8lb 2oz

Whether DD2 would have caught up by 4oz if she’d cooked for a few extra days, I don’t know.

ContadoraExplorer · 02/01/2023 19:14

Second was 2oz smaller but born 3 weeks earlier than my first (who was two weeks overdue) so, whilst I have no evidence, I suspect they would have been heavier if born at the same number of weeks gestation.

loveandwarmth · 02/01/2023 19:57

Mine did but he was born later too.
DS1 7lb 9oz 40 weeks
DS2 7lb 13.5oz 40+ 9.
I don't know how much they put on at the end but the extra 9 days may have added some extra weight so maybe they'd have been similar.
