Mum said I should go to the doctor cos I'm tired

Its nothing then to do with - looking after two toddler boys, having a part time job in which everyone else is working full time and expects me to do so too and trying to do too much. Nothing to do with no family nearby to help whne things get hard or I am ill. Nooo there must be something physically wrong with me. [need a sarcy smiley]

ahh my mums the same, she thinks I shouldn't be tired even thou I have 5 under 10 boys, a dh that works 75hrs a week and no family nearby, and she thinks I should be full of energy and need to see a doctor,

Might be worth going and having a word. Maybe get a blood test done. Could you be anaemic?
While it might just be what you've said, it couldn't do any harm to have a check over.

Are you eating properly?

listen, when my kids were tiny, I used to skip breakfast, I lost a lot of weight and was permanently knackered. A friend of mine told me to HAVE BLARDY BREAKFAST.

Even if you don't feel hungry...take a bowl from the cupboard,

put cereal in it,

put milk on cereal,

and you'll find you'll eat it.

It really did help my energy levels.

agree with juuule. Yes, of course you could be tired with all you've got on your plate without there being anything wrong. BUT you could be anaemic. If nothing else, getting the all clear from your doctor would help you put your Mum's mind at rest. I hate to say this cos it's not what you want to hear, but sometimes Mums know their kids better than they know themselves, even grown up ones, and perhaps she's seen a change in you? Whatever, a visit to the GP would resolve the situation one way or the other.

My mum said the same thing to me when I started back at work. Like you I just assumed it was normal, but just to make her happy I had a sachet of the spatone iron supplement per day that I took when pregnant, made the world of difference and I still take it occasionally when I need a little boost.
