4 month old used to very rarely move about in her sleep unless she was about to wake up

Now she is constantly moving from about 12 at night til she wakes in morning, she doesn't wake up or cry just moving and shuffling about, ever time she moves I can't sleep so my sleep is very disturbed even tho she not crying or waking

The bedroom is currently 23 degrees which I know is warm but it's been like that for a while, I tried putting less on her going to bed (long sleeve top as I don't have long sleeve vest and 1 tig sleepbag )still moving about then I went back to babygrow and 1 tog sleepbag

Has this happened anyone else

I don’t have any advice as such but just wanted to reassure you that my little boy (nearly 6mo) is exactly the same. He starts thrashing around his next to me crib from around 3am each morning until he wakes for the day at 6. If I turn his night light on to check on him he is usually still asleep but trying to roll over or suck his toes!

I also went through a phase where I really struggled to sleep as would wake up at the slightest noise he made, however I just try to reassure myself that if he needed me he would cry. Do you use white noise? We bought a machine from Amazon and my little boy seems to sleep better with it on but it also drowns out his noisiness a little!

I do have ewan the sheep white noise, think it only runs for 20 mins at a time, feel like I constantly pressing the button on it all night 🌙

We used Ewan at first too - we had the deluxe one which has a cry sensor so the noise starts when baby stirs but we found that it was often too late by this point as he was already awake.

I would recommend a white noise machine if you think it would help, ours was only £20ish. Or if you have an Alexa set up in your room you could play it through her. Also, just remember it won’t be too long until baby is in her own room if you plan on moving her at 6 months so hopefully you will both have a more restful sleep from then 🥰

My daughter span like a top from being very little. Still does and she's 14. I still do and I'm 50... Sorry! 😆 I'd get a fan or use white noise to help. As others have said you can get a machine or use Alexa or just download an app. I use pink noise though as I prefer it to white. I don't like brown noise though, for some reason it really unsettles me!
