Only 9 months but wet in morning - are some nappies slightly higher up at the front?

My LO has been wet every morning recently, about an inch above his nappy - goes right through his vest, pyjamas and sleeping bag and onto the sheet. Tried huggies, pampers and tesco own brand. Are there any that sit slightly higher at the front. He's 20lbs and in size 4 nappies.

Mothercare and larger boots also sell boosters - look like sanitary towels - that you could add in to try and increase absorbancy.

Im sure youve prob thought of this but when you put his night nappy on r u making sure his bits r pointing down?

Second the 4+

I hadthis problem with ds1.I found pampers active fit are the best dont get on with babydry. However as my ds1 used to drink so much at bedtime i used to change his nappy again when i went to bed.

I am using tesco baby essentials nappies (green packet) for my ds at night which are coping better than baby dry/active fit, etc. I always use the biggest size for ds's weight so he is in size 5 at the moment which is from 24lbs (although in theory he could still be in size 4 or 4+ as he is about 28lbs). As you go up the sizes you get more absorbancy.

Try not to pull the nappy high up on baby's tummy. I kept pulling it higher and higher when we had the same problem. We tried different nappies first, and then I noticed that the top of the nappy comes loose at the front by the morning. So I fasten it just above the hip and we haven't had a wet morning since.

Good luck, I know how annoying it is.
